This is an awesome post. The weird thing is I was thinking about how to instill a broader cultural viewpoint to some of the juniors at my agency this morning on the tube. I love the comparison of learning core skills and techniques vs the broadening of your cultural understanding of everyday life by breaking outside their tiny world.
